Signal Analysis Software: Types and Applications
Signal analysis software plays a crucial role in various fields, from electronic warfare and signal intelligence to RF testing and vibration analysis. These tools enable users to monitor, measure, and understand complex signals, making them indispensable for engineers, researchers, and operators.
Real-Time Distributed Signal Processing
The new Abacus 900 Series hardware platform represents a powerful, real-time, distributed digital signal processing system. Its Gigabit Ethernet network architecture enables systems to operate independently or combine to form larger systems exceeding 1,000 channels. Systems consist of channel cards, each supporting up to six channels. Notably, two channels per card are user-reconfigurable as inputs, outputs, or tachometers, allowing for flexible system configuration tailored to each test.

Abacus 901 and 906: Portable and Durable Analyzers
The Abacus 901 is an ultra-portable dynamic signal analyzer suitable for both laboratory and field use. The Abacus 906 is a compact, durable system supporting voltage/IEPE and strain/bridge sensors.
SignalCalc 900 Series Software
Explore the power of the SignalCalc 900 Series software - with no hardware required. The new SignalCalc 900 Series software makes the process of defining a test, making measurements, analyzing data and generating high-quality reports easier than ever before. All setup, project, test article, and customer information is saved along with measurement data in a database.
The SignalCalc 900 Series has a unique ability to add signal analysis measurements to a vibration control test. For example, narrowband FFT, third octave, and histogram measurements can run simultaneously with the vibration control test. These measurements are configured using independent sample rates, bandwidths, block sizes, etc. Independent acquisition, analysis and control systems with separate hardware are no longer required.
SignalCalc 900 Series signal processing tools set includes user-defined custom signal processing. These algorithms are processed during the test in real-time using the embedded digital signal processors in the 901 hardware. The results of these algorithms may be displayed during the test and saved with test data. Math channels appear in setups, graphs, and data with physical channels. Multiple workstations can connect and disconnect to a test in process.
RFeye DeepView: Advanced Signal Monitoring
Monitoring and intercepting signals across wide frequency ranges can be very challenging. Signal analysis of unknown and complex emitters is problematic. The wider bandwidth and highly complex, low-power characteristics of some modern Transmitters of Interest (ToIs) are difficult to find, identify, and understand.
CRFS developed RFeye DeepView specifically for EW and SIGINT operators and RF test engineers. The signal analysis software is an easy-to-use, advanced signal monitoring and measurement solution that enables spectrum segment intelligence. RFeye DeepView is an advanced signal analysis software with a 100% probability of intercept.

SignalVu-PC Spectrum Analyzer Software
SignalVu-PC spectrum analyzer software uses the same feature set and user interface that is found in the RSA5000, SPECMON, and RSA6000 Real-Time Spectrum and Signal Analyzers. Requires Connect (CON or SV2C) and Opt. (signal) Analyzers. analyzers) and oscilloscopes and comes with 17 standard measurements. We also offer upgrades to more than 15 advanced measurements.
First download the free SignalVu-PC spectrum analyzer software, then enable the application trials of your choice. Try any application upgrade free for 30 days. Upgrades are available as a node locked or floating version. Node locked licenses let you move to a new PC three times. Floating licenses allow selected users to manage individual licenses.
Validating Transmit Signal Quality
Validate transmit signal quality with EVM, Frequency Error, EVM vs. Control and connect to the 5/6 Series MSO (with opt. When equipped with the option 04 tracking generator, the RSA500A/600A series makes one-port measurements on cables, devices and antennas and removes the need for expensive external reference source.
